Who we are

Geo English (“we”, “us”) provides English classes and related services in Brazil.

What we collect via WhatsApp

• Your name, phone number (WhatsApp ID)

• The messages and audio you send to us, timestamps, basic preferences (language, class type, level)

• System logs generated by our tools

How we collect and store

• Messages arrive via WhatsApp Cloud API (Meta) and are processed by a small automation we control.

• We store conversation summaries in Google Sheets (Google Workspace). We may send internal email notifications so we don’t miss your message.

Why we process your data

• To reply to your request, suggest class options, schedule a trial, and keep basic records of enquiries

• To improve our service (e.g., which menu options people choose most)

• To comply with legal/administrative requirements

Legal basis

• Legitimate interest in responding to service enquiries

• Your consent when you choose to message us and share information

Sharing and international transfer

• We use service providers to operate messaging and storage: Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API) and Google (Google Workspace).

• Your data may be processed in Brazil and/or other countries where these providers operate.

Retention

• We keep lead/enquiry records for up to 24 months after your last interaction, or longer if legally required. We delete earlier on request.

Your rights (Brazil – LGPD)

• Access, correction, deletion, portability, and restriction of processing

• You can withdraw consent at any time

• You may file a complaint with the ANPD

Data security

• Access to our tools and spreadsheets is restricted to our team. We use modern cloud providers with industry-standard security.

If you want us to delete your WhatsApp data:

1) Send an email to timothy@geoenglish.com.br with the subject: “DELETE MY DATA – WhatsApp”

2) Include your full name and WhatsApp number (+55 …)

We will confirm deletion within 10 business days.
